Forever Young aims to provide desirable new and gently used children’s apparel, toys and accessories at affordable prices.

 

 

1. All clothing items must be in style and free of imperfections such as rips, stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, musty and smoke smell or pet hair.  All clothing needs to be recently washed and wrinkle free. Wrinkle prone items should be on hangers.  Shoes need to be in good condition free from dirt.  No more than 30 clothing items will be accepted at a time.  This allows us to get your items on the floor as soon as possible.

2. Toys and accessories need to be in working condition and clean with no missing items.  New batteries must be included in any battery operated item or battery fee may be deducted from the total sale price.

3. Items found to be defective after being accepted for consignment and or placed on the sales floor will be immediately removed and automatically donated to charity without notice.

4. Forever Young will stay up to date with any recall items set by CPSC.  Any item received for consignment that is found to be on the CPSC recall list or becomes on the recall list while in Forever Young’s possession will be immediately removed and discarded of appropriately without notice.

5. _____The Consignment period is 60 days.  After 60 days it is the responsibility of the consignor to pick up items that have not sold.  It is the responsibility of the consignor to remove any clothing or clothing related items from the sales floor no later than the weekend after the consignment period and presented at the counter for tag removal.  Any items not claimed by one day after the conclusion of the consignment period will become property of Forever Young and donated to charity chosen by Forever Young. We have no space to store your unsold items. Forever Young will provide you with a print out of your unsold items upon request.  If time permits we will help you remove your items from the sales floor.

6. _____Forever Young sets prices of all items.  We have the right to markdown or put items on sale at any time.  Consigners are paid 40% (cash) and 50% (store credit) of the sale price of the merchandise at the time sold.

7. A Consigner can request payment of $25.00 MAXIMUM per day (we don’t carry much cash at the store) or request a check (allow 7 days for check).  Store credit you can use immediately and will receive a 10% discount. 

8. _____It is the Consigners responsibility to collect any money owing to you from your account.  After one year from the consignment contract date any money uncollected becomes the property of Forever Young-no notice will be sent.

9. _____Forever Young does it’s best to protect all items on consignment.  Forever Young however is not responsible for damage caused by (but not limited to) fire, flood, accident, theft, or natural disaster.

10. Forever Young reserves the right to modify or terminate the consignment terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 

11. _____Items not wanted by Forever Young when dropped off need to be picked up by the following open day or will become property of Forever Young and donated without notice we don’t not have space to store unwanted items.
